CENTCOM just launched a second consecutive night of heavy airstrikes after Trump said Iran was taking “too long to negotiate.” Let that sink in: he’s bombing a country for not signing a deal fast enough.
Iran hit U.S. military bases in Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan in retaliation. The U.N. chief called the supposed ceasefire “more like a lesser-fire.” Iran still controls the Strait of Hormuz. Your summer gas prices reflect that.
This is another open-ended Middle East war, all while Trump takes victory laps on Truth Social. The April ceasefire is shattered, the region is threatening to “turn to hell,” and none of this was fucking necessary.
Trump's Own Energy Secretary Just Torched His Oil Lie
Trump claimed the U.S. Navy was secretly moving millions of barrels of oil through the blockaded Strait of Hormuz on 22 blacked-out ships at night. His own Energy Secretary Chris Wright sat under oath in front of Congress and said he had no idea what Trump was talking about.
You cannot hide supertankers. VLCCs are tracked by satellite and depth telemetry constantly. You can’t “turn off the lights” on a vessel the size of four football fields and expect nobody to notice. The logistics alone make this story an obvious lie.
National gas averages cracked $4.69 a gallon this week and fuel oil is up roughly 60% since Operation Epic Fury started.
If millions of barrels were flooding the market, prices would be dropping. They are not. The pump doesn’t lie even when the White House does.
