I don’t think that is what the market is focused on, however. The week ahead is another doozy, with the primary focus being Wednesday with the CPI numbers and FOMC minutes. I am interested to see what the minutes say versus what all the Fed governors have been saying the past week. Friday the rhetoric turned to potentially hiking again!??
Monday and Tuesday are pretty light on data, so they may be the cleanest days to trade this week. Keep an eye on VIX as we start the week as well. Will it stay pushing the 17 level, or retreat?
Crypto was pretty quiet last week. I would not anticipate that continuing for long.
