For the 80th edition of the Stack I had to throw it back to when times were a little slower, and the world didn’t seem to hate each other quite as much. Gas for a dollar a gallon? Damn, I miss those days.
You might have a more enjoyable time this week rewatching Ferris Bueller and Full House reruns, because this week is an absolute doozy. We have 20 Fed speakers (that is what it shows on the calendar, sneak attack Fed Talks have been happening quite regularly).
Wednesday also brings the FOMC minutes, followed by Inflation Rates on Thursday and PPI on Friday. Data and Feds galore. War is still in focus in the Middle East. I am sure VIX will be on a rampage once again at some point this week. Bank earnings at the end of the week officially signal that “earnings season” is upon us yet again (it basically is just a never ending loop, let’s be honest).
Oil names and China will continue to be hot until they are not. Don’t fight momentum! This stack has some great charts and trades with time that will allow us to pull in some monster sized bags this week. Let’s get to the meat and potatoes.
