PRIME 151: Too Strong To Sip

This ain’t a mellow summer week. It’s short, volatile, and lit like a Molotov. Last week we torched the board — CAT cleared 3,000%, multiple trades blew past 1,000%, and we’re still standing in the smoke.

Now?
Market’s got one foot on the brake and the other in the fire.

With 4th of July this Friday, our trading time is cut significantly. The market is closed on Friday and will close at 1 pm EST on Thursday. That means ALL weekly contract will expire on July 3rd at 1 pm this week. But don’t get it twisted: that’s not an excuse to coast. That’s an opportunity for precision entries while the tourists and amateurs check out early.

And just to crank the chaos, Trump’s back on his tariff tantrum against Canada, this time taking aim at their 3% digital tax on U.S. tech. He’s threatening to slap tariffs on damn near everything north of the border unless they fold, and quick. This isn’t just policy theater, it’s more bullshit that hits supply chains, tech valuations, energy pricing, and consumer sentiment in both directions. We’re talking potential macro whiplash right before a thin-volume market session. Exactly the kind of pressure that cracks fake trends wide open.

So while we wait for fireworks on Friday, let’s create our own in the meantime.

Here’s what’s in the barrel tonight:

  • LYFT, SOFI, HOOD, CPNG: Retail flow magnets, and if we get a risk-on micro rally, these catch first. But if the digital tax drama hits harder mid-week? Fade fuel.

  • CLSK, APLD, ORCL: Tech edge with ties to AI, data, and infrastructure. Tariff tension + holiday volume could create outsized squeezes or violent reversals.

  • XOM, C, PAYX, BA: Big cap bricks. These ride macro headlines hard. Especially with oil volatility, rate uncertainty, and employment data still in the mix.

  • PDD, DKS: Sneaky momentum plays with strong pattern setups. These are strategic burns waiting for a match.

This isn’t some watered down safe zone.
This is 151. It burns hotter, hits faster, and goes down cleaner.

Every setup tonight is about timing and targeting. Yes, the Stack is loaded, but you don’t have to trade EVERY idea in here. You need the right ones, with entries that hit like a backdraft and exits that lock before the wick runs out.

Let’s scorch the week before it even starts.

LYFT

LYFT 0.00%↑ monthly chart is a thing of beauty. You are looking at the entire lifespan of this ticker and it has consolidated down here for the past 2 years. It finally has a chance for a trendline breakout, and with the last day of the month tomorrow, we may see a move happen. Here’s my plan. Pay attention to the various expiration dates!
